Now hiring! We are now accepting applications for The "Safety Diver/Assistant Shark Researcher" position. This is a very SERIOUS CAREER position for those interested in guiding program participants daily in the water with sharks while collecting data for ongoing research projects. Requirements:
•PADI Divemaster or Instructor Certification.
•CPR/First Aid Certified
•Exceptional Ocean Swimming Ability including a 1.5 minute breath hold while swimming (You will have to pass a swim test to be considered. Swim test includes swimming twenty feet underwater for a minimum of 90 seconds.)
•Bachelors degree in Biological Science, Marine Science, Zoology, environmental science, conservation biology, or related degree (will entertain many backgrounds for the right person)
•US Citizen
•Ability to relocate to Oahu, HI within 30 days. Preference given if already on island.

Requirements:
US Coast Guard License
Some engine knowledge about Suzuki outboards and Volvo Diesel
Must be available five days a week including weekends
Available for boat and trailer maintenance after charters finish for the day
Early riser who can be ready to go for 5am boat launches
Upbeat and positive attitude, even at 5am ;)

Must be proficient with Mac computer systems
Must be able to work five days a week including weekends
Should have excellent time management skills and be very detail oriented
Should have some previous office or customer service experience

Up beat and positive attitude
Must love animals (the office has two dogs, two chicks, and a cat)
