The "Pelagic Shark Program" also known as the "Pelagic Animal Research and Interaction Program" or what some people simply refer to as: "The snorkel with sharks without a cage program", is an extensively developed program based on shark behavioral research and data collection integrating educational informational and adapted for the general public to utilize in order to reduce or avoid adverse shark interactions.
The #PelagicProgram is an interactive research based program now open to the public. Hailed as "one of the best programs for inspiring shark and marine conservation." Founded as a research program, One Ocean Diving opened to the public in an effort to help educate people about the reality of sharks and facilitate and empower people with first hand experience.
Learn about the latest shark research, shark biology, physiology, behavior and specific body language from a marine biologist/shark specialist. Learn from the experts in the safest, most respectful way to interact with and enjoy sharing the water with these incredible animals.
